Basset Hound
Welfare has long been aware of the goodwill felt towards the charity
particularly from those who have been introduced to the unique experience of
adopting an unwanted hound, but also anyone who has an empathy with the Basset
Hound and the good work done by Welfare.
With “friends” we have built something on this and provided an organisation which gives an opportunity to be closer to the charity and share experiences with us.
We produce regular newsletters containing advice and experiences from experts and fellow owners and whatever is of interest, pictures etc., it is your newsletter.
We also have functions so that you can enjoy the unique experience of face to face contact with other friends. We arrange walks in various parts of the UK, attend fun gatherings, and are always open to friends suggestions for events.
You may have regular contact with your local Basset Hound Welfare representative or the representative who re-homed your hound with you. “friends" complements this.
To become a
friend make an annual donation to
friends of Basset Hound
Welfare; whatever amount you feel happy with, but a minimum of £8.00 per annum.
